In their house at R'lyeh dead Cthulhu waits dreaming ... of kitties!

After a few failed attempts to create a Cthulhu cat, I finally came up with an illustration that I'm happy with! My original idea was a cat wearing a Cthulhu mask, but it didn't seem to resonate with people. Many thought the cat was dressed in an octopus costume, which was discouraging. However, using our Mothman & Kitty Friend design as inspiration, I created something new!

We hope you enjoy it. Prints will debut at the Oddities & Curiosities Expo in Salt Lake City on September 9th and 10th, and they'll be available in our online shop soon!

P.S. While H.P. Lovecraft was a deeply flawed individual—racist and judgmental—we're grateful that his creations have been around long enough to be reimagined in our own way.
