McD Boo Bucket Halloween Pail Cats
I updated our 'McD Boo Buckets and Cats' art prints just in time to share for Halloween! I was inspired by a mix of McDonalds classic boo buckets and their new cost-cutting designs ... but I leaned more into the vintage 80s-90s ones with molded lids. And in case you're wondering, I'm calling them 'McD Boo Buckets & Cats' so the clown doesn't come at us.
In order to save some time, I decided to basically reuse my lines for the Jack-O-Lantern boo bucket and make changes to the faces and redrew the lids and faces.
As per my usual process, I did some sketches in Procreate for iPad and then dug into the line art. Once the lines, colors, shadows and highlights were finished I exported everything over to my Mac and created the backgrounds and textures in Photoshop to finish everything up and ready for print production!
