I grew up adoring the Garbage Pail Kids, and one of my all-time favorite cards was the very first one - Adam Bomb. When we moved to New Mexico in 2018, I was inspired to paint a version of that specific GPK, but I reimagined it as a cat and used watercolor. Since then, my artistic style has evolved significantly. With the release of the Oppenheimer film (Barbie is better), I felt it was the perfect time to revisit and create a new version.
This recent attempt is much more detailed than my first, and I'm truly thrilled with the outcome! I used my modern workflow - Procreate on my iPad Pro and Photoshop for the background and to make everything print-ready!
